Slow paintings, made by hand

Linda's Corner is a small painting practice working in oil on linen. The work moves between three things: figure studies, landscapes, and abstracts that keep only what the first two leave behind — light, weight, and the shape of a quiet moment.

Every canvas starts with a thin wash and is built up slowly, layer over layer, so the weave of the linen stays visible in the surface. Edges are left soft. Faces are often unresolved on purpose — the aim is the feeling of a person in a room, not a likeness.

Materials are simple and archival: professional-grade oil paint, oil-primed linen stretched over kiln-dried bars, and a final varnish once the paint has fully cured. Nothing is printed, reproduced, or editioned. Each painting exists once.
